Hi, I've just found your blog through a comment you left on Sam's blog. And I saw your request.

Well, first you have to create the family you want portrayed in your story, and move them into a home. Then start playing about with them, until you get the right picture. You should certainly use the zoom a lot, and even move into camera mode. (The booklet explains how - if you lost it you can search for that on the internet, and I'm sure you will find lots and lots of help). Then when you get the right angle for the picture, you just press the tiny camera on the bottom left of the screen, and voila' a picture is taken.

Before you take the pictures though, you should enter the Game Options screen, and set your camera settings to "High" and "Large" because otherwise you would get small, fuzzy pictures.

Then when you finish taking as much pictures as you like, go into your neighbourhood folder (Usually this is located at C/My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2. When you open that folder (you have to check which neighbourhood you're playing, I usually play Pleasantview, and that folder is Neighbourhood 1 on my PC). There is another folder in it called Storytelling. In it you will find the pictures that you took for your story. I usually copy them in another folder I created, so that I could mess around with them without losing the original picture.

Make sure that you copy the pictures that start with snapshot, not the ones that start with thumbnails, because the thumbnails very small.

Then to upload them, I think you can read this tutorial at Leah's blog, it explains in detail how one should set up a blog.

To remove the plumbbob, and the headers, and move sims around and stuff, there are cheats available too. These make your pictures look smarter and nicer.

I'm still not very good at taking pictures from the right angles, or editing them in photoshop, but I'm getting better everytime.

If you have more questions that I can help you with feel to ask. If you have a TSR account, you can send me a PM too there, my username is crookedwings.

Have fun with your stories, and good luck
